eCCB will not play messages, unknown issue

Potential Symptoms

  • The eCCB will play test patterns but not messages.
  • The Module ID pattern shows the modules are hooked up correctly and the grid is the correct size.
  • The display will show a heartbeat until a message is set to play.
  • Clearing the messages and soft resetting the display has no effect.
  • Using a different phone does not help.
  • The display has the correct time, date and time zone. The time has been sync'd.

Cause

  • Unknown.

Resolution

  • Shut off power to it from its circuit breaker for a couple minutes.
  • If unable to reset from the breaker you can try a reset from the device connection.
    • Click on the Gear, select Display Information, Reset Display.
