SportApp: How do I enable Dual NDI or SDI?

Steps

  1. This is only available on some models. Please refer to http://ajtsystems.com/products/livebook-gfx/#pricing to see if yours supports multi-NDI
  2. Browse to the program files folder
    • Close the Sportapp
    • Go to C:\Program Files\AJT Systems\
    • Open the folder for the version of your SportsApp

  3. Edit the config file
    • Right click on the config file and use open with to edit it with notepad++ or notepad
    • Do a search for ndi or sdi
    • Set the enable\disable NDI or SDI preview value to "True"
    • When saving the file, you may get a windows permission popup so save the file to the desktop and include the .config at the end.    (BasketballApp.exe.config)
    • Drag the saved file from the desktop, overwrite the file in the folder and launch the SportApp

  4. View SportApp NDI output
    • This can be done with the TriCaster or NDI tools video monitor
    • Send the score bug to the program window
    • Send the go to break to the preview window
    • Launch the NDI tools video monitor from the start menu
    • Right click in the scene, choose the name of your LIVEBOOK.
    • Output 1 and Output 2 should match what's seen in the SportApp
  5. View Sportapp SDI output with the IO4K
    • The IO4k is needed to view dual sdi output on the TriCaster
    • Set the video options in the SportApp to key and fill
    • Send the score bug to the preview and program windows
    • Connect the SDI cables to Input 1(Fill) and Input 2(Key)
    • Send the go to break to the preview and program windows
    • Connect the SDI cables to Input 3(Fill) and Input 4(Key)
