Communication issue to display using cellular modem, SIM card has malfunctioned

Potential Symptoms

  • Verizon website shows device as active, but not connected.
  • LED Lights on the modem show a solid green power, but also show flashing red for Signal and Network.
  • Able to access modem locally, but not showing a WAN IP address in Ace Manager.
  • Ace Manager reports "No SIM or Unexpected SIM Status" on the Cellular screen.
  • Number of SIM's Present is 1, but APN Not found is reported on Cellular screen.

Cause

  • SIM card is failing to authenticate/connect to the providers network.

Resolution

  • Replace SIM Card.
