Getting error when opening Vanguard Professional

Potential Symptoms

  •  An error occurred while logging in. Please verify the "Daktronics Nucleus Server" service is running on the server computer. If a Firewall is present ensure that TCP port 9245 is allowed.

Cause

  • Firewall / antivirus blocking the ports.

Resolution

  • Add exceptions in antivirus.
  • Allow TCP port 9245 and UDP port 5093 to the firewall exemption.
