Venus Web Editor: How do I upload custom fonts for my content?

Topic

  • Upload custom fonts for use in Venus Control Suite presentations.
  • Venus Control Suite font requirements.

Font requirements

Type: TrueType TTF
Font embeddability: Installable
⚠️Some fonts might be set to editable vs installable.  Editable font embeddability may not work in every bowser.
These font requirements can be verified by viewing the font's properties.  See the example below:

Style

It is best to use a font that has bold, italic, and bold italic style versions.  See the example of a font with styles in the image below:

⚠️If the font does not have the styles, the Web Presentation or Content Studio will try to apply the options if they are selected.  However, this may cause unexpected text wrapping in some situations.

Using a new font in Venus Web Editor or Content Studio

  1. Create a new message with text or edit an existing message with text. Venus Web Editor: How do I create a presentation using the Venus Control Suite?
  2. The new font should be available in the drop-down list.

Font considerations:

  • The font cannot be deleted if a presentation referencing the font.
  • If an account owner shares a font, the sub accounts under it should see the font as an option when creating content.  However, sub accounts will not be able to share with each other.
  • Administrative roles have the ability to upload fonts.
