Unable to see the _amd64.deb extensions when updating VFC from Rev 24 to Rev 28

Potential Symptoms

  • Cant See the DMP file when updating firmware through VFC menus.

  • Unable to find installer when updating VFC to Rev 28

Environment

  • Product Family: Transportation
  • Product: Vanguard
  • Component: VFC firmware file, flash drive
  • Control System: VFC

Cause

  • This would affect the way the menus look and what is on the thumb drive.

Resolution

  • Update Firmware on controller to rev  27 first, then upgrade to Rev 28 for DMP 7.22.0.20 and VIP b1961.
