RTD will drop the furthest right character on the display when it changes.

Potential Symptoms

  • When RTD is being pushed to the display it will cut off characters.
  • Clock data is dropping the ones digit from the seconds column on the display when anything other than a "1" is displayed.

Cause

  • Font being used is not a fixed-width font, causing different letter spacing to be required for larger characters versus smaller ones.  This causes the frame size to drop the data.

Resolution

  • Stretch the box further to the right within Content Studio.

  • Create content using a fixed-width font, such as Courier New.
