Dashboard in Venus not reflecting changes made to playlists, reset GUIDs

​​​​​Potential Symptoms

  • Dashboard in Venus Control Suite (VCS) not reflecting changes made to playlists.
  • Despite there being no active playlists the dashboard is still showing content rotating and the sign is blank.​​
    • VIP and DMP web config monitors are blank.
    • ​​All messages, playlists, and fusion hashes have been deleted from the DMP.​
  • Cycling power to the display may allow updates to be sent to the DMP.

Cause

  • Venus Control Suite is not pushing updates properly to the current device association.
