Audio Not Working or dropping out On DMP-8000
Potential Symptoms
- Able to get audio to work, when playing file with audio on Windows Media Player on the same machine, but when playing it through the DMP-8000 Player not able to get audio
- Sometimes audio will stop by then drop out
- Made sure the default audio device is set to Blackmagic
Environment
- DMP-8000 / Vnet
- Blackmagic
Cause
- Unsupported Blackmagic driver (10.6)
Resolution
- Blackmagic Driver 10.8.5 has been tested to resolve this issue and will start shipping with new systems soon.
Or
- Uninstall Blackmagic driver, install the compatible version
