FL-3000/FL-4500 Unable to change prices on multiple displays using DM-100, Reset system

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to change prices on all displays
    • Can change displays from external access port J-Box. 
    • May only change the primary side until power cycled.

Environment

  • Product Family: Digit and Price Displays
  • Product: FL-3000, FL-4500
  • Components: FLR3-1500, FLR3-2000
  • Control System: DM-100

Cause

  • DM-100 failed to initialize all displays.

Resolution

  • Perform the following boot up sequence to the system.
    1. Power down all pylons and server radio j-box.
    2. Disconnect DM-100 from radio j-box.
    3. Power up server radio j-box. Wait 30 seconds.
    4. Power up all pylons one at a time. Wait 30 seconds after each.
    5. Plug DM-100 into radio J-box and verify each network is found.
    6. Detect displays from Diagnostics Menu of DM-100 (if needed).
