Unable to communicate in Venus 1500 V4 but can ping the controller and connect in M2Config
Potential Symptoms
- Unable to detect display in Venus 1500 V4.
- Keep getting connect failed error message when trying to connect to it.
Environment
- Venus 1500
- Galaxy Displays
Cause
- Users security software is blocking communication.
Resolution
- Unblock all daktronics software (Venus, Fusion, Nucleus Server) and attempt to connect again.
- May be necessary to run a repair on the software in order to get prompts for all of the services to come up.
Work Around
- Completely disable the security software and attempt to connect to verify if the software is the issue.
