Venus 1500 v4 is Showing most of the Memory being used on my GP4 Display even though I have no Content Loaded

Topic

  • Why is more than half of my memory full on my GP4 display?

Environment

  • Product Family: Message Display
  • Product: GalaxyPro, GP4
  • Component: Controller memory
  • Control System: Venus 1500 v4

Steps

  • The operating system and essential files that are necessary to run the display are shown in the memory.  It is normal to see up to about 75% of the memory used in Venus 1500 v4 with no content sent to the sign.
  • There should be around 3000MB free for content to be sent to the display.
