Messages on the display appear to run in a random order than what is scheduled in Visiconn

Symptoms

  • Messages appearing in a random order on the display.
  • Every other message that shows on the sign should not be playing.
  • Content is playing that should not be scheduled.

Environment

  • Visiconn
  • GP4

Cause

  • More than one playlist was created and published to the display.  When running together, the sign will alternate equally between each playlist. 

Resolution

  1. Set the unwanted playlist to In-Active by deselecting the Active box in the upper left hand corner of the playlist settings.
  2. Re-Publish content

OR

  1. Combine the 2 playlists into the desired Order.
