Unable to launch Venus 1500; Service missing from Windows Services menu

Topic

  • Getting a Nucleus service could not be started error when starting/launching Venus 1500 V4 and then a Username/Password prompt.
  • When launching Venus 1500 get error "Venus has encountered problem and needs to close, we're sorry for the inconvenience", but has previously launched without issue.
  • SQL Server (Nucleus) is missing from Services menu and unable to open Venus 1500.
  • Daktronics Nucleus Server service missing from Services menu and unable to launch Venus 1500.
  • Receiving a prompt that the registration has expired when opening Venus 1500.

  1. Run a repair on Venus 1500 v4.
  2. Launch Venus 1500 v4 software.
