VIP-4060 not showing test pattern

Potential Symptoms

  • VIP-4060 not showing test pattern.

Environment

  • Controller firmware 1.9.27

Cause

  • Corrupt Java Cache.

Resolution

  1. Shortly after having it work, the test pattern will not show on the monitor out despite which test pattern is selected.
  2. Lost connection to the VIP-4060 webpage at one point.
  3. Took the VIP-4060 IP address and erased "config.html" in the browser and added "recovery".
  4. We were able to connect.
  5. Opened up the Java Control Panel.
  6. Selected Temporary Internet Files Settings

  7. Remove the check mark for storing temporary internet files locally.
