All Sport: No display on locker room clocks, Incorrect signal protocol.

Potential Symptoms

  • After installing new locker room clocks, no display is showing, even though there is correct DC voltage at the signal input and the clock test cycles when powered up.

Cause

  • Locker room clock set for incorrect signal protocol.

Resolution

  1. Identify the Locker Room clock model and the All Sport controller model. Use the chart below to ensure the correct All Sport and Locker Room clock model are being used together. If the wrong model clock has been sent out per the controller on site, replacements will have to be arranged.
  2. Follow the charts below for the dip switch settings based on the All Sport console sending signal to the Locker Room clocks. (Example: Facility is using an All Sport 5000 series console and they received TI-2031 Locker room clocks, dip switch settings should be SW1:ON; SW6: ON; SW7:ON all others off.)

  • The following comments rely on the orientation of the Locker Room clock as show in DWG-1064515 found on pdf page 13 of the 4-Inch LED Bar Digit Locker Room Clock Display Manual, DD1732287.
    • Dip switches go from 8 to 1, left to right.
    • Switch position down is "OFF".
    • Switch position up is "ON".
    • The picture below shows the dip switches set for use with an All Sport 1600/5000 console.
