When I start up my Pro Dive or Pro Swim software my display is missing buttons or parts of the display

Potential Symptoms

  •  When I start up my Pro Dive or Pro Swim software my display is missing buttons or parts of the display.

Environment

  • Windows 7 Operating System
  • Pro Dive Software
  • Pro Swim Software

Cause

  •  Pro Dive or Pro Swim not set to "Run As Administrator" within Windows 7.

Resolution

  1. For Windows 7, ensure the most recent software version of Pro Dive or Pro Swim is installed on the computer.
  2. Right-click on the Pro Swimming/Dive shortcut on the computer desktop.
  3. Click on the Compatibility tab.
  4. Checkmark the box in the Privilege Level section for "Run this program as an administrator".
  5. Click Apply and OK.
  6. Whenever starting up Pro Dive or Pro Swim, always click yes to allow software to modify system .

Work Around

 If there is no shortcut on the computer desktop for Pro Dive follow these steps:

  1. Click Start >> All Programs >> Daktronics >>OmniSport Pro.
  2. Hover mouse over Diving 2.0 or Swim 2.0 and right-click
  3. Select "Run As Administrator".
  4. Select Yes.
