FinishLynx, running time is lagging or not keeping up when displayed on a Galaxy matrix RTD frame

Cause

V15 RT is not supported for runtime data

V15 RT has to process the data before sending it out. Runtime data cannot be processed fast enough through V15 RT.
V15 RT is used for results from Hy-Tek's MEET MANAGER

Resolution

Option 1: Setup FinishLynx to communicate to the display via network UDP/IP connection. Requires the use of FinishLynx Network COM Port for Ethernet output option. This will allow FinishLynx to output over UDP port 3002, the controller will receive FinishLynx data directly on port 3002. V1500 will only be used to create the template and control message operation if changing during the event. V15 RT software key is not required to create RTD frames.

FinishLynx requires purchase of the NCP software plug-in: Not able to select "Network (UDP)" as an option in serial port drop down of FinishLynx, DD1978571.

Option 2: Send RTD data directly to the controller's current Loop (CL) input. Requires converting FinishLynx's RS-232 output to CL with a signal converter. Reference controller's layout to determine which connections are for CL (+) and CL (-) input.
