How do I set zoning/policies restrictions to a display in Venus 1500 V4?

Question

  • ​How do I set or change zoning/policies restrictions to a display in Venus 1500 V4?
  • There is an ordinance that requires messages to be on the display for a certain amount of time before changing.
  • How do you make sure messages hold on the display for a minimum time limit?

Instructions

  1. Launch Venus 1500 V4.
  2. Go to the Application Menu (Orange V) in the upper left hand corner of the Venus 1500 V4 software.
  3. Click on Venus 1500 Options.
  4. Click Policies.
  5. Check mark Enforce Policy.
  6. Set the desired Minimum hold time, select or deselect the Allow flashing or effects.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Display Tools (White down arrow to the right of the Green Refresh arrows).
  9. Check Clear display memory and click Reset display.
  10. Once completed, go to Schedule Tab, click Publish or Publish to Display to Re-publish presentations to the display.

Note: When setting a minimum hold time, videos/animations will not play on display.
