Displays compatible with SCS include the following:
Legacy Systems
Displays with a M3 based controller: Use versions before and including 2.35.1.0.- Sports Star (SS)
- Galaxy AF-3500, Galaxy AF-3550
- GalaxyPro AF-3700 displays.
- Sports Star Live (SSL) display.
- ProStar, ProAd displays
Active Products
Displays using a DMP-8000.- DVNMC
- Digital Video Interior (DVN)
- Digital Video Exterior (DVX) displays.
Operating Systems
Windows 8- Not advised, more testing has been done with newer versions.
- Supported with Show Control software version 2.0.xx and newer.
- Show Control version 3 and newer must be at least Windows 10.
- Supported Show Control 2.34 or later
- Supported Venus local 22.4.504.0
- Display Studio, Content Studio, and VCS – Standard regression testing includes Windows 11. Update to the latest versions for best results.
Additional Information:
- Show Control Display Studio supports/uses Hyper Threading.
- Displays with a M2 based controllers (e.g. Galaxy AF-3200, AF-3220, or AF-3400) will NOT operate with SCS.
Content Studio version 4 (64-bit)
- Show Control version 3.5 introduces Content Studio Version 4 (64-bit).
- This removes support for V1500, V7000, and Data Server / CPP XML Table Data.
- Content Studio v3 will be uninstalled during upgrade.
- Removed Spell Check.
- This version will improve memory usage. This was tested with up to 1,332 data fields and 4k video in the background.
- Content Studio 4 does not support direct imports of Photoshop (PSD) files. Convert to another format like PNG or JPEG before importing images.
