    Important Information:

    • Updating from V3.4 and below - Administrator is required to run the update. After the update has completed, it is required that the Administrator opens the Display Manager at least one time before switching to another User logging and accessing the software.  Failure to do this step may result in:
    • Updating from V3.5 and above - No known issues.
    • Updating from V3.8 and below - You will see a difference in the Message Studio as technology changed with V3.9. Please note the following differences listed below:
      • You will see a difference in how to create messages.
      • Existing scrolling text messages will need to be recreated.
      • When opening existing messages that contains text boxes, they may have shifted or changed shape.
      • If making a change to an existing message, you will want to verify all the frames in that message to ensure all content is readable; you may find it necessary to stretch out a text box to see the entire text.
      • If you do not make any changes to existing content, it will play normally.
    • Updating Ver. 3 V1500 with no internet access. Get on line with another PC and down load Ver. 3.12.1 off of Dakfiles.daktronics.com  and save on a Flash drive and transfer to no internet access V1500 PC and update it.
    • If you have the Ver. 3 V1500 disc you can run a repair from that once also. It will allow you to choose Modify, Repair, or Remove when you run Install disc.
