NACDA Renews Partnership With Daktronics Through 2020

About NACDA

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Oct. 31, 2017 – The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) announced that it has reached a three-year partnership extension with Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, as a corporate sponsor through 2020. The extension will mark nearly three decades of NACDA working alongside Daktronics in the collegiate athletics industry.

As an exclusive corporate sponsor of NACDA, Daktronics will continue to have heightened involvement during the NACDA & Affiliates Convention Week, as well as several other NACDA meetings and events throughout the year. The 53rd Annual NACDA & Affiliates Convention Week will be held June 24-July 1 at the Gaylord National near Washington, D.C.

"NACDA's partnership with Daktronics spans 25 years, and although both organizations have grown and prospered exponentially to meet membership or customer demands, our combined focus on interpersonal relationships has never wavered," said NACDA Executive Director Bob Vecchione.

The activation of Daktronics' extended agreement also incorporates a presence in NACDA's print and digital communications vehicles for the industry leader in electronic scoring and display boards — including Athletics Administration magazine, NACDA.com and the NACDA Daily Review.

"Daktronics has had the privilege of watching NACDA grow for more than 25 years," said Daktronics Vice President of Live Events Jay Parker. "They are at the core of college athletics and it is extremely important for our company to continue this long-standing partnership as we look forward to what the future holds."

NACDA, now in its 53rd year, is the professional and educational Association for more than 15,700 college athletics administrators at more than 1,700 institutions throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. More than 6,500 athletics administrators annually attend NACDA & Affiliates Convention Week. Additionally, NACDA manages 17 professional associations and three foundations.
