Daktronics Operations Continue to Meet Demand Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Apr. 3, 2020 – Daktronics’ (NASDAQ-DAKT) top priority is to protect the well-being of our employees, suppliers, customers, and the community at large, while continuing to deliver quality product and services, helping to ensure sustainability of the organization, and preserving the intrinsic long-term value for our shareholders.
Updates on factories and our ability to deliver on orders:
- We are fortunate to have many loyal customers and a strong backlog of business.
- Five of our seven global factories continue production to fulfill orders. This includes our four largest factories located in South Dakota, U.S.A. We voluntarily complied with regional orders to suspend production in our factories in Ireland and Minnesota for two weeks. These factories are planned to resume full production the week of April 13th.
- Daktronics’ global manufacturing strategy has allowed us to achieve minimal-to-no disruption on our ability to deliver orders.
- In our best efforts to ensure a safe and healthy manufacturing environment, with guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and other applicable regulatory agencies, we have enhanced or implemented robust health, safety and cleaning protocols across our organization.
