Daktronics Hires Kati Jacobs as European Service Manager

BROOKINGS, S.D. – May 28, 2021 – Daktronics announces that Kati Jacobs has joined the company's European team as European Service Manager. Kati has been with the company for 15 years, spending 11 of those years based at Daktronics Headquarters in Brookings, South Dakota, USA.

This will be Jacobs' second international assignment as her first was to develop and strengthen Daktronics' service division in Australia. After her successful four-year assignment there, she will now bring her skills and experiences from that market, one of the busiest for Daktronics with multiple verticals, to the European market.

Speaking on the change of roles, Jacobs says, "I see many synergies between the Australian and European markets. From the large sports venues, billboard, retail and pro-AV markets, I understand the challenges in offering the level of service expected from Daktronics. I have spent the past four years streamlining our service business and I'm now looking forward to working with our European team and, of course, our European customers.

"Not only do I want to deliver excellent service to our key accounts and customers, I also want to ensure our valued integrating partners have the tools and means to deliver the service to our collective customers."

Jacobs is based at Daktronics's Ireland manufacturing facility in Ennistymon, Co. Clare.
