Renewing Show Control Software License

Your purchase of Show Control includes a license installed on each user station. This license includes a one (1) year subscription to receive software updates. If you wish to continue receiving software updates beyond that first year, you will need to update your Show Control license and software accordingly. Currently, update licenses are available at no charge, but in the future, Daktronics reserves the right to charge for these licenses.

If you choose not to renew your subscription, you will still be entitled to continue to use your current version, but will not be able to install software updates. Follow the steps below to update your system.

*Note this update is for SCS-2000 licenses only. To update other SCS licenses please contact Show Control Support at 1-800-DAKTRONics (1-800-325-8766). To find out what version you have, click here.

STEP 1: Activate Your License

In order to renew your SCS-2000 license, we will need the following information. Within 24-48 hours you will receive an email back with the downloadable license update and further instructions on how to activate your license. Please provide as much information as possible.

STEP 2: Restart Your Computer

Restart your computer in order for the license to be properly installed.

STEP 3: Update Your Software

Once your software license is renewed and you've restarted your computer you are now able to update your software by clicking the link in your licensing email.
