Some Media Content Won't Play on Sign; Image Duration Greater than Slide Duration

Potential Symptoms

  • One or more Web Presentations from the media content that is in an active playlist is not showing up on the sign.
  • Sign may be playing content but will appear not to update when additional files are added to the playlist and saved.
    • No appearance of the green download arrow (indicator) in dashboard.
    • New content does not appear on dashboard or on sign.
  • Issue slide/s will not show even if using the same font as the slides that do play on the sign.
  • Some slides won't play with all slides set to a duration of Inherited from Playlist

  • Product: Venus Control Suite (VCS)
  • Component: Scheduling, Web Presentation content with custom duration, Animated Content feature disabled as desired
  • Control System: 

Cause

  • Display "Image Duration" is set to a greater or longer time frame than slide durations and Animated Content is turned off.
