Show Control System: What is the trigger widget?

Topic

  • The Display Studio Trigger Widget can receive commands from other video switchers or system controllers that are GPI command capable.  The Display Studio Trigger Widget accepts a simple command protocol and allows you to easily map that command to any button in Display Studio.  This will provide the ability to "trigger" a Daktronics system to do something from a third party system.
  • The Trigger Widget is a one time purchase of 20, 100 or 999 triggers. No licensing or yearly renewal fees.
  • Examples include:
    • Triggering Daktronics from a production switcher for big moments like "show open" or scoring event.
    • Taking commands from third party systems such as Cisco, Ross Video, and Click Effects.
    • Taking commands from lighting system controllers and other third party systems used in spectaculars and houses of worship.
  • For more, read Create Big Moments with Triggers.
