DakStats: How to Add Accents or Special Characters on a Player's Name

Steps

  1. Open DakStats
  2. Go to Configure > Roster
  3. Navigate to the correct season and team you wish to edit
  4. Click on the player you wish to edit.  Edit the name and insert the special character in the edit box. This can be done in one of two ways:
    1. Copy and paste the desired special character from the character map program on your Windows computer

    2. Use your keyboard to enter the correct Windows shortcut. All shortcuts can be found by going to Windows Accessories > Character Map. Enter the character by using the Alt-0XXX keystroke listed.
  5. Once the desired name is edited correctly, click save.

    NOTE: This is a one time edit. One you save the name the way you want it, DakStats will save the correct spelling for the remainder of games.
