Important Notes:
- Version used w/ the BM card may vary based on revision of the capture device. DMP-8000 Firmware Revisions are base versions of compatibility.
- In most cases, an update to Black Magic version 10.9.x or higher requires running Windows Updates to obtain the required certificates previous to the update. This requires internet access; temporary internet access via a hotspot or similar device is sufficient.
- If a DMP cannot be updated past a certain firmware version based on the qualifiers below, it may generate a yellow status light in Display Studio asking for the DMP firmware to be updated. This occurs when the Display Studio version contains features that the current firmware of the DMP cannot support. This does not impact the base functionality of either Display Studio or the DMP, just the added functionality provided within the firmware updates of Display Studio. This will also not impact DMPs onsite that can be updated to the most recent released version, as these will support the features provided by the updated version of Display Studio.
