BROOKINGS, S.D. – Oct. 22, 2013 – This fall at Kean University as Cougar athletic teams and fans prowl onto home court inside Lowell and Toby Harwood Arena, they will find two new LED video displays designed and manufactured by Daktronics (NASDAQ – DAKT) of Brookings, S.D. During the month of October, the displays will be installed in the Union, N.J. - based facility, and will be ready for use by the men’s and women’s volleyball and basketball teams and fans.

"Kean University is committed to providing its student-athletes, fans and campus community with the best experience possible every time we compete and every time we host an event," said Chris Morgan, Director of Athletics at Kean University. "This investment in new video display boards will further enhance the excitement of the competition that takes place in Harwood Arena, and better engage our fans in the play-by-play."

The two main video displays will each measure approximately 7 feet high by 13.5 feet wide and will feature 6 millimeter line spacing. They will be capable of showing one large image to highlight live video and instant replays. They can also be divided into separate windows to show a variety of vivid graphics, colorful animations, up-to-the-minute statistics, scoring information and sponsor advertisements.

These displays will incorporate excellent image clarity and contrast with wide angle visibility keeping all Cougar basketball and volleyball fans inside the game action.
