What does the Drive Health Tile in the DMP dashboard point to?

Steps

  • Percentage called out in the tile is the amount of life left on the drive. The higher the percentage the larger amount of time, the lower the percentage the shorter amount of time left for the drive.
    • All time's remaining called out in the tiles are only estimates.

Color's and Meanings

 green drive health mock up.jpg Green = Normal operation and more than a year's time life left on the drive.

Orange drive heath mock up.pngOrange = Normal operation. Estimated life of the drive is 1 year or less. Note the drive is at this level for decreased lifetime.

Red drive health mock up.pngRed  = Limited function of the drive, around 3 month's time left on the drive. Would recommend a player at this point to prevent any downtime on the display. See KB DD3701395 for steps when the drive health is in this state.
