T2 Hospitality Taps Daktronics To Bring Light To Open Space For Anaheim Residence Inn

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Aug. 29, 2017 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has partnered with T2 Hospitality, an investment, development and management group for hotel properties, to deliver a new LED video display for Anaheim Residence Inn on the side of their parking structure in California. Installation was completed in early July as the display was up and running before the holiday on the fourth.

"The sign is everything we expected it to be and more," said Anaheim Residence Inn General Manager Lucas Fiamengo. "I see guests out there taking pictures in front it all the time. In fact, during a convention that took place the first week the sign was operational, we added a welcome screen for the group. The response was overwhelmingly positive and there were lines at times as they waited for the welcome screen to appear so they could take their pictures with it. Overall, this has been a great addition to our building and our guest experience."

The display brings light to an open green space between the parking structure and the hotel to capture the attention of people as they pass through the area. It faces the roadway entrance to the hotel for additional exposure. Measuring 13 feet high by 9.5 feet high and featuring a 10-millimeter pixel layout, the new screen shows crisp, clear imagery with wide angle visibility.

Currently, it is showing advertising for on-premise food and beverage options, but future opportunities include movie nights and partnering with entertainment companies to showcase special events using the display.

To help bring the display to life immediately after the installation, T2 Hospitality received a digital content package of custom animations produced and delivered by Daktronics Creative Services.
