Nova Southeastern University Outfits Campus with Daktronics Outdoor Displays

BROOKINGS, S.D. – June 10, 2015 – Nova Southeastern University (NSU) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is partnering with Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, to outfit the NSU campus with outdoor LED displays. Daktronics will design, manufacture and install the displays this summer.

Four outdoor LED displays, each measuring approximately 5 feet high by 12 feet wide, will be installed on the NSU campus. The displays will feature wide angle visibility, 10 millimeter line spacing and industry-leading environmental protection. Variable content zoning will allow operators to show a single large picture or divide the display into different zones filled with content such as video, campus news, event promotion and sponsored advertisements.

"We are honored that NSU has once again selected Daktronics to be the preferred choice of LED displays" said Daktronics sales representative Mike Kempany. "The new state of the art 10mm displays replace older Daktronics 20mm technology and will be a tremendous upgrade for the marquee locations. Doubling the lines of resolution will provide NSU with the functionality to display high quality imagery to represent achievements, upcoming events, and more. Thank you Nova Southeastern University for allowing us to share in your vision of excellence!"

Daktronics LED video and messaging display technology offers a long lifetime with consistent, industry-leading performance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.
