Daktronics Supplies a New Galaxy® Series Display for the Upgrade

MetaBank Installs New LED Sign at a Brookings Landmark Location

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Sept. 06, 2016 –MetaBank^® recently installed an upgraded LED sign to better serve customers and the community. Daktronics supplied the bank with a Galaxy^® GS6 display and the cloud-based Venus^® Control Suite. Every day, more than 11,000 vehicles drive by the branch's location at 600 Main Avenue, Brookings, S.D.

"We have been Daktronics customers for 40 years, so it made sense to stay with who we know. Given our prime location, there's an obvious need for signage out front to display our marketing content. We also work with the Chamber of Commerce and list the SDSU Jackrabbits events on it, which is huge for their market, as well as holiday messages," said Tim Peters, Brookings market president.

The Venus^® Control Suite is used to create messages for the GS6 display. The software adjusts to meet the needs of any level of user.

"The more we use it, the more comfortable we get with it, and the better it is," said Jean Engen, Brookings branch manager. "People comment on our sign; it's good customer recognition."
