Huskers Football Overhauls Scoring System at Memorial Stadium with Daktronics
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Sept. 3, 2015 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, was selected by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to provide a new scoring system and two LED scoring displays for Memorial Stadium. Installation was completed late this summer in time for Huskers football to kick off this fall.
The installation includes two ribbon displays that will be mounted to the seating fascia of the stadium. They measure approximately 3.5 feet high by 33.5 feet wide and feature a 13HD pixel layout. Industry-leading environmental protection and wide angle visibility as they show up-to-the-minute statistics and game information throughout events.
The installation also includes game time clocks, delay of game clocks and locker room clocks to keep everyone informed of the flow of the game.
