Daktronics Wins 11th Allied Member Achievement Award at IDEA
Customers win multiple GMAs in "Best of" categories
BROOKINGS, S.D. – July 30, 2014 –
Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, was the recipient of the Allied Member Achievement Award for the 11th time at this year's IDEA (Information Display and Entertainment Association) Conference in Dallas, Texas. The award honors a current Allied IDEA member organization for industry innovations and support of both IDEA and the large screen video and matrix display industries.
"We're honored to be recognized with this award as innovators in the video display industry," said Vice President of Daktronics Services Sarah Rose. "It serves as confirmation that we're providing the industry with products and services that provide value to our customers and their fans. During the awards portion of the conference, multiple Daktronics customers received Golden Matrix Awards (GMA) for their work with technology during their events. In a professional sports dominated landscape, the University of Georgia received a GMA for
Best Tribute Video. Other winners include Orlando Magic for
Best Overall Matrix/Fascia Display, Miami Marlins for
Best Promotional Videos and Toronto Blue Jays for
Best Interactive Feature.
