When USITT’s Executive Director David Grindle stopped by the Daktronics rigging manufacturing facility in Victor, NY, he saw sophisticated hoists and controls being assembled and rigorously tested. The process is complicated, but Daktronics’ efficiency makes it look simple.
“What I found was a company totally into implementing the Lean culture in both the offices and on the manufacturing floor. I loved what I saw,” Grindle said.
