Redundant Data Signal 
All Daktronics digital billboards use bi-directional signal cables that automatically switch to a backup feed in the event of a signal failure, assuring that your advertising client's information and artwork maintain readability. Without a redundant data signal, a cable failure will lead to information loss.
Power Supply On Each Module
With each of Daktronics' modules containing a dedicated power supply mounted directly on the module rear, power supply failure does not affect the readability of the advertisement on your Daktronics digital billboard.
Other LED digital billboard distributors may have a single power supply delivering power to large groups of modules. With a module failure, a huge section of a digital billboard could be affected and the advertisement becomes unreadable.
With Daktronics, even with a power supply failure the advertisement's message remains readable as only the module containing the bad power supply is affected. Writing advertising credits for power supply failure will be a thing of the past.
Universal Display Module
Our fully sealed, universal display module provides 360 degrees of weather defense using water-tight gasketing with sealed housing and connection points. Each module was engineered and designed to be the same dimensions allowing for seamless product upgrading in the future.
For example, if a tighter pixel pitch is needed down the road, the existing billboard cabinet can be retrofitted. Simply replace the old modules with a new, tighter pixel pitch module of the exact same dimensions.
