For nearly 40 years, Daktronics has been designing and building scoring, timing and display systems for sports that help keep competition fair for athletes, make events much more enjoyable for spectators, and recognize corporate partners that help make international sports competition possible.

In 1980 Daktronics was awarded a contract to provide nine large scoreboards for winter sports at the Lake Placid games. In 2008, our display systems were used extensively for the summer games in Beijing. And in between, event organizers, as well as millions of fans, have counted on Daktronics systems for scores and results, messages, entertaining graphics and animation, and video at countless major sporting events. That list of events also includes World Cup, Premier League and MLS matches; World Series baseball; collegiate and profession football including six consecutive Super Bowl games; Stanley Cup hockey; and NBA and international basketball.
