Current Work Experience:
My main focus as a convention coordinator intern is to plan the national High School, Park and Recreational (HSPR) conventions. This includes reserving a booth space, designing the booth, ordering necessary equipment, becoming familiar with the logistics, creating detailed show plans and executing them. Other projects I have worked on are researching competitors, updating architect specifications writing articles for the HSPR department’s newsletter and creating advertisements for trade magazines.
