It was my first experience working in a professional setting. I was given the opportunity to learn from a couple mistakes and prove myself as an employee by demonstrating my strengths.
How did the internship help in your current position?
I currently work in Customer Service and having worked on the sales side as an intern helped me to have a better understanding of Daktronics as a whole and how the actions of different sides of the company affect the rest of the organization. It also helped immensely with networking and knowing who the "go to" individuals are for different issues.
Other Relevant information:
Traveled to Germany to facilitate an event with the NBA.
