Daktronics markets and sells audio and visual communication systems for customers in the sport, business and transportation applications. Daktronics has internships available in these business departments. These positions and markets are outlined below.

Commercial:
Interns will work with other sign companies in the region to promote Daktronics products as well as help build our Commercial business across the country. Responsibilities include assisting our regional sales staff in generating leads, contacting current and potential customers, as well as coordinating and attending trade conventions. As an intern you will get the opportunity to network with local and national businesses. Interns are provided the opportunity to travel extensively for product demonstrations and participation in trade shows. We are looking for candidates that have initiative and an eagerness to learn.

Large Sport Venue Marketing:
Join the Large Sport Venues Marketing team to play an integral role in the planning and execution of some of the most widely recognized conventions and trade-shows in the sports and corporate worlds. Your skills and talents will be challenged as you deal with different equipment and clientele throughout the internship. By collecting information from different colleges, universities, professional sports centers and convention centers, you will provide the LSV sales force with crucial details as they work to target their sales efforts.

Large Sport Venue Sales:
Interns will be able to work with seasoned sales staff to promote, quote and propose ways to enhance the game day experience for major sports teams in the NBA, NFL, colleges and universities. Interns will get the chance to work with the best in the sports industry. This internship is ideal for team players who are passionate about sports. Be a part of a dynamic sales team to work with customers ranging from Major league teams, convention centers, fairs/amusement parks, and minor league teams, Attention to detail and a commitment to working as a team member are a must.

Schools and Theater Sales:
This internship allows interns to work with our regional offices to sell and promote our sports products. Interns will have the opportunity to be involved in sales demos for our newest SportStar Live product. Working with professional sales staff to demonstrate our latest equipment to coaches, athletic directors, and school board members will open many doors for networking.
