We began working with Daktronics during the construction of Victory Field in 1996. At that time we chose Daktronics to provide a large incandescent display in right field, an out of town board in left field and a marquee  outside the field at our center field ticket gates.

It was prior to the start of the 2003 baseball season when we chose Daktronics again for an upgrade to an LED integrated scoring and video system for Victory Field.

Over the years we have appreciated the quality of their products and their commitment to ongoing customer service. We rely on their equipment to help us put on what we feel is one of the very best game-day presentations in professional baseball.

This season we again chose Daktronics to provide another large digital display for our fans and corporate partners. The 120 ft. long full-color Daktronics LED display in left field has been a fantastic addition to the ballpark. It provides up-to-the-minute scores and stats for our fans while providing additional valuable exposure for sponsors.

The operation of a large system such as ours is an important aspect to consider. We had great success with the proven Daktronics system with our existing equipment, but were excited to hear about the new Show Control System being introduced this spring.

The new Daktronics Show Control system combines the horsepower of the existing Daktronics control system with new functionality and an incredibly intuitive user interface that our game-day operations staff found very easy to learn and operate. The content compositor makes it easy for us to create graphics, messages and animations on the fly. We can quickly create and display real time data on our two large video displays. Our operators also love features like the monitor wall that provides them feedback in real time, and the great organizational tools like the customizable work spaces and smart buttons to make their job easier.

The best thing about Show Control is it brings all these great features into a truly integrated system, which no other supplier can come close to providing.

Kudos to the Daktronics team for this great new control system, for continuing to design and build truly integrated systems, and for the ongoing technical support you provide game after game, season after season. You help us make Indianapolis Indians games and other events at Victory Field the very best they can be.
