The Challenge
"Digital displays have a much more professional look. I really liked the display when I first started my research, and my sign company recommended that I choose Daktronics."
Geff Freeland, Owner, Dairy Queen
In 2009, Geff Freeland, owner of the Victoria Dairy Queen, was looking to upgrade his business. He decided to purchase a Daktronics Galaxy® display to enhance his facility's image. "Digital displays have a much more professional look than static signs," said Geff. "I really liked the display when I first started my research, and my sign company recommended that I choose Daktronics." Geff likes his display so much that now, two years later, he is purchasing another display for a different DQ location.
The Daktronics Solution
Getting the display was a big financial decision for Geff. "The digital displays are a head and shoulders above static signs, but they are also far more expensive," Geff said. "But with digital displays, you will make your money back over time."
Geff was able to purchase his first display with a remodeling budget that had been set aside and now finds that it is well worth the money to get the second. "You can change the display from anywhere in the world with a computer," Geff said. "We also get great content from DQ corporate for our display, such as Blizzard® of the month."
