Video displays bring imagination to shopping centers
The Challenge
Foruminvest, a major investment group that was working to enhance shopping centers throughout Europe, wanted a partner who would help them stand out in more than one way. They wanted to enhance the attractiveness of their malls by playing up the ingenuity of each center.
Foruminvest needed a company that would help them achieve their goal of creating a unique attraction that would keep patrons informed and entertained in each shopping center.
Foruminvest wanted to bring a unique touch to each display. They requested that Daktronics add modules scattered to the side of each display.
The Daktronics Solution
With LED video displays strategically placed inside each shopping center, customers won’t miss a single detail broadcast by ForumTV. The displays and the external modules show information and ForumTV televised programming. Each display is approximately 5 meters high by 2.5 meters wide and has front access, allowing service to be performed with ease.
Daktronics LED technology has the ability to present live and recorded video images, colorful animations and vivid graphics with incredible brightness and wide-angle viewing. Not only can it offer a long lifetime with minimal maintenance, but it has low power consumption that can provide value and excitement for years to come.
What They’re Saying
“Daktronics high performance screens achieved our requests; they are more than high quality LED screens,” said Edouard Detaille, CEO of ForumTV. “Daktronics also offers a very professional team: reactive, efficient, on-time and flexible. All of these factors were key for us to get the success we have today with Forum TV.”
“The significant amount of experience Daktronics has in the fixed display industry was a major factor in Foruminvest choosing Daktronics,” said Eric Timmerman, Foruminvest. “The fact that Daktronics was the only company that could provide front access displays and the incredible quality they could provide were two other considerable features that aided us in our decision-making process.
