For Rent! Display Spreads the Word

The Challenge

Eddie and Christine Lopez, owners of National Electrical Contractors in Albuquerque, New Mexico, had rental space in their building that, unfortunately, was unoccupied. To get the message out about their business and the available office space, they invested in a digital display. "We had a lot of messages to get out there, and we felt that a display would be the best way to reach customers," said Eddie. "When looking for our sign, we saw Daktronics displays around town and we ultimately felt comfortable purchasing from them."

The Daktronics Solution

Within 30 days of installing their sign, the Lopezes signed leases
with new tenants and are now using their sign to promote those
businesses, as well as their own. "We have been approached by
other businesses asking where we bought our display, and some
have even asked about buying advertising space on our sign,"
said Eddie.

The new display gives the Lopez’s the flexibility to run roughly
150 different messages throughout the day. "The software
makes it easy to quickly change our content," said Eddie. "And
although we are not designers, Christine is very comfortable with
the design software that came with the display."
