Display Establishes Strong Presence
Earlham Savings Bank, Woodward, Iowa
“When you invest in a high-quality digital display, it shows longevity. We wanted to show customers that we are established and are here to stay.”
Russ Asman, Vice President,
Earlham Savings Bank
The Challenge
When the local bank in Woodward, Iowa, closed, the town was left without a bank. Earlham Savings Bank later opened for business in this community of approximately 1,200. They knew that they wanted to have a digital display at this new business, as they already had a Daktronics display at two of the bank's other locations. It was also important to reach out to the new community. "When you invest in a high-quality digital display, it shows longevity,” said Russ Asman, Vice President of Earlham Savings Bank. “We wanted to show customers that we are established and are here to stay."
The Daktronics Solution
Although the message center was just installed at the end of April, they have already gotten a wonderful response from the community. "People love the display," said Russ. "We even saw people taking pictures on the second day!"
This success is largely attributed to Earlham Savings Bank's experience with the displays. "This is our third display, and we plan to buy another one by the end of the year," said Russ. "The displays are very energy efficient and the new Venus® 1500 software upgrade is fantastic! We had been using an older version, and the upgrade to version 4 is a great improvement."
Chesnut Signs, the local sign company, worked hard to find the perfect display for Earlham Savings Bank. "I have seen a lot of displays that didn’t appeal to me," said Russ. "Chesnut Signs did a wonderful job in helping us get what we really wanted."
