CasaBlanca and Virgin River Casinos in Mesquite, Nevada, were looking for a more effective way to market their promotions with lower energy costs. Their previous signage at each location consisted only of static copyboard signs, and Anthony Toti, chief executive officer of CasaBlanca and Virgin River Casinos, knew that they wanted to upgrade to digital displays. The Daktronics Solution
The installation of the GalaxyPro® displays saved CasaBlanca and Virgin River Casinos up to 90 percent on power costs. The display can also be controlled both onsite and remotely, which enables the casinos to use the services of a marketing company to assist them with their content. The new digital displays had an impact on the city of Mesquite as well. The process of obtaining permits for the displays resulted in favorable sign code changes. Former Mayor, Susan Holacheck, said that the city is proud of how the displays look.
