Primedia Launches Daktronics LED Video Displays

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Dec. 10, 2009 – Primedia in Lebanon has propelled their business into the digital age with the installation of three light emitting diode (LED) displays, designed and manufactured by Daktronics Inc. of Brookings, S.D. (NASDAQ-DAKT).

The state-of-the-art systems feature the latest Daktronics HD-12 LED video technology with the capabilities to show still and recorded video images, colorful animation and vivid graphics with incredible brightness with wide angle visibility. The first video display is approximately 3.0 meters high by 4.8 meters wide (9 feet 6 inches high by 15 feet wide) with pixels on 12 millimeter spacing. Daktronics LED technology offers a long lifetime with minimal maintenance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.

The next two full color digital LED displays installed measure approximately 3.0 meters high by 7.8 meters wide (9 feet 6 inches high by 24 feet 6 inches wide). When not showing exciting graphics and animation, advertisers are highlighted with a wide variety of visuals and messages.
 
Primedia has already ordered their next Daktronics display, scheduled to be installed in January. A full color 16mm display measuring 3.0 meters high by 7.8 meters wide (10 feet 6 inches high by 21 feet wide).
