Daktronics Announces New Color DAKTicker® Product
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Dec. 17, 2007 — Daktronics Inc. (NASDAQ‐DAKT) of Brookings, S.D., today announced the launch of a new DAKTicker® product.
Daktronics DAKTicker® displays are used to entertain and inform customers across the globe by streaming financial data, sports information, news headlines or general messaging in vibrant color and brightness. The new DAKTicker® model KE‐1020 indoor display is available in RGB eight colors or RG three colors. It is an upgrade from the previous KE‐1010 model, which only offered colors in RG, producing red, green and amber‐colored text. The new DAKTicker® display sections can be configured horizontally which enable long, continuous ticker installations. The displays use surface mount technology which provides uniform content in text and graphics and are controlled by Daktronics Venus® DataStreamer® software.
Easy‐to‐use Venus® DataStreamer® software allows users more flexibility to control, schedule and distribute user‐created content to nearly an unlimited number of displays from a single computer. The versatile software has been recently updated to allow the scrolling of logos.
